| We are here to bring you the best New Age and alternative reading available on the web. The e-zine sites have been carefully screened to avoid dead links as well as fee-based and content deprived calling card sites so commonly found in lists of publications you will find elsewhere. This site is best viewed with an 800x600 monitor using Netscape 4. It would also help if you have a very clean, nicely hinted free font from Microsoft called Trebuchet installed. This is usually automatic nowadaysk, but in case it isn't you can get it here for Mac or Win3.1 or Win9x (about 200k) The fastest way to keep up on the news here is with our low graphics, frame-based Reading Room, open 24 hours a day for your comfort. If your browser does not support you will not reach the frames area, but will stay in the non-frames section of the site. Origins and Content This site is an abbreviated adaptation of a printed reference work A Whole Again Resource Guide to the technology of the web. The printed work, currently out-of-print, annotates over 3200 alternative and New Age periodicals and resource books from modest grassroots newsletters to the most prestigious international journals. Most of these people-changing, planet-saving resources are seldom found on newsstands or library shelves. The printed work spans a range of forty subject areas and covers newspapers, magazines, journals, newsletters, indexes, abstracting services, bibliographies, handbooks, directories, sourcebooks and quality basic introductory books especially valuable as reference works. The on-line version is not so ambitious due to the efforts of other webmasters who have generously devoted their time to organizing the resources of the web. By our navigation bar on the left and the contents for each listed on their respective pages you can gauge our scope. Each of our four content areas -- on-line periodicals, book resources, FAQs and topical resource links map out what we feel are the high points of what is currently available via the web. As a unique fifth offering, we will evolve a search facility for conveniently wading thru the resources we cite in these pages. In areas of prolific content the links are highly selective and the link lists we cite will allow further exploration. There is a lot of good New Age and alternative reading available on the web and our goal is to help you find it as painlessly as possible without traversing the endless lists of links normally required. We concentrate on quality e-zine journalism, FAQs, book and archive content, and followup link lists. We publicize sites that are actively changing what needs changing and reviving what has been lost. No effort is made to cover fiction, poetry, or dogmatic politics. What is the New Age anyway?
